Mangaluru, August 2: A three-day workshop on ‘Introduction to New Criminal Laws - 2023’ organized here at SDM Law College, was concluded on July 31.
The workshop was organised by the Seminar and Conference committee of the college in association with the Central Bureau of Communication-Mangaluru.
The workshop was held in two sessions.
Pruthviraj Rai, Advocate, Mangalore Bar Association, was the resource person for the first session. He delivered a talk on ‘Changes introduced in the New Criminal Legislations’.
Parameshwar Jois, Advocate, Mangalore Bar Association, was the resource person for the second session who delivered talk on ‘Key provisions of the 3 New Legislations’.
Essay competition & Quiz competitions were conducted on the occasion.
Dr. Tharanath, Principal, presided over the programme.
G. Thukaram Gowda, Field Campaign Officer of Central Bureau of Communication, Mangaluru, Maheshchandra Nayak, Associate Professor, Karthik Anand & Dr. Annapoorna Shet, Faculty Convenors of Seminar & Conference Committee, were present.
